A list of new features
– Youtube activation (requires a Youtube account) As of today, YouTube has added a new feature to their app – activation. This requires a YouTube account, and once you have one, you can activate your smart TV by tapping on the “Activate” button in the app. This will allow you to watch videos within the app, even when you’re not connected to the internet. This is another way that Google is trying to compete with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, by making sure that users have more options when it comes to watching video content. With so many competitors out there, it’s important for YouTube to continue adding new features in order to stay ahead of the curve.
How to connect your smart tv
Depending on your TV’s model, you may be able to connect it to the internet and use apps like YouTube. If your TV doesn’t have a built-in internet connection, or if you just want to use YouTube without using your device’s cellular data connection, you can activate YouTube using your smart phone or computer. To do this: -On your TV, go to the main menu (usually home screen). -Select settings. -Select Network and then Communications. -Scroll down to Smart TVs and choose Turn on. -Your TV will ask for confirmation that you want to connect to the internet; accept. Now you can open YouTube and search for whatever content you want!
What apps work with smart tvs
Many popular apps work with smart TVs, including Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube. However, not all apps are compatible with every smart TV. In particular, certain apps may not function properly on certain brands of smart TVs or in certain regions. If you’re not sure whether an app will work with your particular TV, look for the “compatible devices” section of the app’s website.
