What are my budget restrictions? Try to stick to appliances with one job – like an oven or stovetop – rather than multiple gadgets that do multiple jobs. As a general rule of thumb, appliances that run on electricity are more expensive than those that use gas, but they’ll last longer. 3. What brands have a good reputation? Look for top brand names if you can afford them. But don’t be afraid to try out cheaper alternatives, too; sometimes they’re just as good. 4. Can I customize the features? Depending on what you’re looking for, some appliances come with extra features (like convection heating) that you can’t find elsewhere. Be sure to ask about these features before making your purchase!
